Leadership / Perspective
The leadership–execution gap
Strategy becomes real through the choices leaders make every day.

A clear direction is necessary, but it is only the beginning. Leaders translate priorities into decisions: what receives attention, who owns the next move, and how progress is reviewed. When those choices are unclear, even an ambitious strategy can become disconnected from daily work.
Begin with one strategic priority. Ask the team to describe what it changes this week, who is accountable, and what evidence will show progress. Differences in those answers reveal where alignment needs attention.
Innovation / Perspective
Good ideas need a working system
Innovation depends on more than the quality of an idea.

Ideas need a route from discovery to decision and from decision to delivery. That route includes sponsorship, governance, resources, and a willingness to learn from evidence. Without it, innovation can remain a collection of isolated initiatives.
Examine one promising idea that has stalled. Identify the next decision, the person able to make it, and the evidence required. Improving that pathway can be more valuable than generating another idea.
Organizational Transformation / Perspective
The two sides of transformation
The organization and its leaders have to move together.

A new structure does not automatically create new behavior. Equally, coaching a leader cannot remove every constraint embedded in an operating model. Sustainable change asks how leadership capability and organizational systems reinforce one another.
Look at the change from both perspectives. Which behaviors need to shift? Which processes, incentives, or decisions will support those behaviors? Bring both questions into the same conversation.
